(Boston—6/3/24) Senator Paul R. Feeney (D-Foxborough) announces the successful passage of a $57.999 billion budget for Fiscal Year 2025 (FY25) along with a host of amendments he filed and secured during debate of the spending package. The Senate FY25 spending package passed unanimously before midnight on Thursday, May 23, 2024.

SENATE ACTS TO PROTECT CONSUMERS, MAKE DEBT COLLECTIONS FAIRER
(Boston—3/29/2024) On Thursday, the Massachusetts Senate unanimously passed legislation to protect consumers and help keep people from being pushed into financial ruin if they are sued for financial debt. The new law would make debt collection practices fairer, protect wages, and make clear that no person can go to prison for their debt.

(Boston–3/12/2024) On Monday, March 4th, 2024, Senator Paul Feeney received the 2024 Leadership in Suicide Prevention Award from the Massachusetts Coalition for Suicide Prevention during an awards ceremony in the Great Hall of the Massachusetts State House. This annual award presentation acknowledges individuals and organizations for their outstanding leadership and contributions in preventing self-injury and suicide in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
